Meg
Meg was born in 2011 and arrived here in July 2019, along with 3 other donkeys. They were relinquished by their owner, who was unable to care for them anymore due to ill health.
Meg is an American Mammoth Jackstock donkey and stands at a whopping 14.3hh! She is even bigger (at least weight-wise...) than our infamous "Big Bertie!" Sadly though, due to her great size and the inbreeding that often occurs with 'pure' breed animals, she does have some conformity issues, including knee problems and she consequently walks with an unusual gait. Despite these issues however, she is a very happy, social, good-natured girl.
