Flicka Donkey Defender and help to raise funds and
awareness to support our work!
Flicka's Donkey Defenders' scheme allows young, passionate people to become involved with our charity and build on their key skills by encouraging them to raise funds and awareness for our work.
As a Donkey Defender, you will be playing a vital role in our charity's work; helping us to rescue donkeys in need and care for them at our sanctuary for their whole lives. It costs us a MASSIVE £60,000 per year to feed all the hungry mouths at our sanctuary - so every penny really does help!
There are many things you can do to help the donkeys and horses at Flicka... from fundraising at your school to holding a collection for donations or taking part in a sponsored event. This could be a sponsored swim, walk or even something a little more wacky!
What you choose to take on is entirely up to you and any funds you raise will really help!
Once you have completed your fundraising activities, we will send you a special certificate of achievement, Flicka Foundation badge and wristband, as well as a thank you letter from the donkeys that live at our sanctuary, our latest newsletter and more!
We are happy to support our Donkey Defenders on their special Mission in any way we can, with fundraising ideas and advice, sponsorship forms, literature and presentations. You will have unique, special access to a secret area of our website, where you will find these useful fundraising tools, as well as access to fun donkey facts, games and more!
