Harry
Harry was born sometime in the 1990’s and arrived at Freshfields Donkey Sanctuary along with another donkey called Lettuce (also now at Flicka). Animal Welfare informed Freshfields about them; poor Harry & Lettuce had been left in a paddock with no shelter in the middle of winter when temperatures were 12 below freezing.
Harry is very friendly and enjoys cuddles, but when he isn’t enjoying fuss he is always eating!
At the sanctuary, he enjoys the freedom to spend his days as he chooses; grazing in the paddocks, relaxing in the sunshine or socialising and pottering around the cosy donkey barn when the weather is colder.
