Walter
Walter was being kept in a tiny, corrugated, windowless shed on a scrap yard when we rescued him. He was underweight and his feet were in immediate need of attention. He also required treatment for lice and rain-scald as well as skin and eye infections; it was clear he had simply not been cared for.
Despite the trauma he must have suffered at the hands of people, Walter is an extremely friendly and affectionate boy. He has settled in well at our sanctuary and will now be free to live out his life as a donkey should; with others of his own kind, in peace and comfort - showered with love and respect!
