Toby

Toby's Mum Bluebelle was a beautiful donkey who arrived at Flicka in October 2010 with a very pretty foal at foot, Violet. Both were very frightened, and in appalling condition, and, as their rehabilitation began it did not take long to realise that Bluebelle was expecting again!

We took Bluebelle and her daughter Violet into a separate stable and Toby was born at around 7.00am on June 15th, 2011. After vigilantly checking Bluebelle around the clock for a couple of weeks she still managed to have her boy in ‘secret’! It goes without saying Toby was a beautiful baby and Bluebelle was such a special Mum.

Toby has grown in to a very handsome affectionate boy, loved by everyone, and bonded very closely with Jeremy.
