Tinker
Tinker was seized by animal welfare from a market and has since come to be known as the royal donkey because he completed a sponsored 802 mile Royal Walk, with another donkey Joshua, from Balmoral Castle to Buckingham Palace. The Queen came out to greet them and ordered treats of carrots on ice. The two little boys were even featured in the film montage during that years’ Christmas broadcast!
Tinker is a lovely friendly donkey and was born around 1975, so is quite the elderly little gentleman.
He now lives a relaxed life in his group of ‘oldies’ and spends his days with his friends Sable, Acorn and Emma.
