The Flicka Foundation Lorry

Lack of transport over the years had always been a real problem for the Flicka Foundation, in an emergency time is of the essence, whether it is a sick horse or donkey that has to be rushed to the veterinary hospital or a welfare case when an animal needs to be removed quickly.
 
We are delighted that we now, with the help of family and one or two generous donations, have purchased a small second hand lorry! It has already been a great tool for our work, we are delighted, we can now be prepared for emergencies and rescue/removals and act promptly when necessary.

Transport also means that we can now attend functions/open days and give talks, taking along a couple of donkeys to promote the Flicka Foundation and animal welfare......we've always borrowed transport previously for these occasions.


The lorry has been a valuable acquisition.
