Strawberry
Strawberry arrived in February 2021, as part of a rescue of a small herd of donkeys from a terrible situation. Our little “Herd of Hope” arrived filthy, frightened and in desperate need of veterinary care and attention; suffering from malnutrition, badly overgrown and twisted feet, dental issues and all the signs of sheer neglect. You wouldn’t think it to see them now though - we are so pleased with how they are doing... Strawberry loves having dust baths and has learned to walk properly again. She is now the picture of health and such a beautiful, gentle donkey. She remains very close to Snowdrop, who she arrived with. |
