Rosebud

Rosebud arrived on the 29th November 2021 with another donkey named Ivar and, as is the story we tell all too often, their lives had not been happy or healthy ones... Ivar went off to his new life in a wonderful foster home, but Rosebud still remains under health assessment at our sanctuary. It is so sad to see the extensive veterinary care many of our donkeys require when they arrive, uncared for and unloved. We are hopeful that, with a little TLC and nurturing however, Rosebud will thrive and grow and begin to trust us. She is currently living with Juliet, Hettie and Lolita - they get along really well and play together a lot.

Beautiful Rosebud is growing in confidence daily and is such a lovely girl!
