Rhapsody and Blue
Rhapsody and Blue were spotted by a tourist when they were working pulling carts in Budapest. They were both in appalling condition with skin and foot problems and had ill fitting harnesses that were causing pain and wounds; one of Rhapsody’s ears was almost hanging off due to the inappropriate harness.
The caring and compassionate tourist bought them immediately from the uncaring owner. She then had to organise getting them both shipped to the UK for veterinary care and sanctuary at Freshfields. They were both very frightened and required sedation before any treatment was carried out.
Two very handsome boys, both now looking really fit and well - their past well and truly behind them, although they are still a
little timid at times.
