Little Bear

Little Bear arrived in the middle of March at only a year or so old, as his owner wasn’t able to care for him. He is a tiny micro-donkey who is very confident, naughty and cheeky and keeps all his carers on their toes! He is also very affectionate and will run over for cuddles whenever he can get them.

When he arrived on his own we weren’t quite sure who we would be able to socialise him with, but then Benji and Freddy also needed our help, which worked out perfectly for all of them. Little Bear is very friendly and inquisitive. It is likely that Little Bear will join one of the larger herds of donkeys at our sanctuary in time, but for now he is very happy with his friends, Benji, Freddy and Robby. The young boys were joined by Ned - they love to play and chase and are often seen running around in a line biting each other’s bottoms!
