Iris

The very lovely and quiet Iris came from Freshfields sanctuary after its closure...

In 2013, some drunken students took Iris and her bonded companion Suzy, from their paddock. Terrified, they were both thrown into the canal. Iris was rescued by the fire brigade, but tragically her dear friend Suzy drowned.There are no words to describe this act of abhorrent cruelty.

Thankfully Iris is doing very well now and seems happy and content amongst her friends.
