Hettie
Hettie arrived in January 2022 with four other donkeys. They were at a holding site for the meat market and they were in poor condition; all underweight with long, twisted feet. They were also very nervous - we dread to think what they had been through and the path their lives were destined for... With time and specilaised care, Hettie recovered from her physical issues and is now a picture of health! She was initially a bit of a loner, but having introduced her to some new friends she has started to come out of her shell. She is still shy and has moments of nervousness, which is not surprising considering her traumatic past. We are pleased that she is growing in confidence daily however and is such a lovely girl. Hettie seems to take everything in her stride and is generally a very laid back, relaxed donkey!🤗💕 |
