Harvey....
2nd Jan 2002 - 14th Sept 2012

It is with a very heavy heart we post here to tell you we have lost our beautiful Chocolate Labrador Harvey. Harvey
became unwell on the 1st September, after several vet visits involving x-rays and blood screening (where nothing was found) he was finally referred to Bristol Veterinary Hospital where they gave us the devastating news that he was full of cancer, he deteriorated rapidly.

Harvey absolutely adored people, more than food, more than walks, there was not one single mean bone in his body, no matter how ill he was, he still wagged his tail. The happiest dog we have ever known, it was a privilege to share his life, he has left a huge gaping hole in our broken hearts.

Harvey was a joy....... God Bless you lovely boy.

Timmy
1994 - 29th December 2012

A very sad and heart wrenching goodbye to Timmy. Although a very elderly gentleman who we knew would not go on forever, we just cannot quite accept he is no longer with us.

Timmy had been abandoned in the woods in the midlands, on a cold December day when the ground was thick with snow - he was curled up under a tree trying to keep warm, he was very emaciated, frightened and confused . Timmy became besotted and completely bonded with Mary, and was reluctant to ever leave her side. When we lost Mary in 2008 Timmy would stand all day at the garden gate, in all weathers, each time we brought him in - then as soon as he could get back through an open door, he went back to the gate......... waiting for Mary.

A dear little chap, even played gently with the cats. Heartache is the price we pay for love.
Good Night Timmy - sleep tight.........

We have a secret, you and I,

That no one else shall know,
For who, but I can see you lie,
Each night, in fireglow?

And who but I can reach my hand
Before we go to bed,
And feel the living warmth of you
And touch your silken head?

And only I walk woodland paths,
And see, ahead of me,
Your small form racing with the wind
So young again, and free.

And only I can see you swim
In every brook I pass.
And, when I call, no one but I
Can see the bending grass.........
