Bracken Grey
Having an afternoon stretch (with Misty in the background)...
Bracken was, without doubt, going to be put down. Having been rescued once, sadly for Bracken, his new owner was emigrating. Because of his chequered past and ‘sweet itch’ (skin condition) problem – which is very severe in Bracken – a home could not be found for him and his owner worried about his future, she decided to have him humanely put to sleep rather than endure ‘another’ uncertain future. We could not turn him down, so here he is!
His skin complaint does cause him, and us, a few problems, but we are very vigilant and hopefully treat it in time before it ‘takes a hold’. He is a very popular, chunky little chappie with lots of spirit!
