Pan's People
We saved eight beautiful girls from a life of neglect and misery in a welfare case that spanned four years. They were all emaciated, had skin infections, twisted overgrown feet and had been kept in freezing, wet conditions with no shelter. It was an extremely difficult case, but we were resolute no-one would be left behind (we are sure some of the girls are related). We eventually managed to save them all. Pansy is why their herd name became "Pans People". We sadly lost Heather in 2025, but Pansy, Polly, Esmie, Flo, Olive, Tilly and Diane very much enjoy life at our sanctuary. They are all beautiful, gentle girls! |
