Alvin and Bluebelle

Alvin and his mum, Bluebelle, arrived at our sanctuary in September 2025 after we were asked to help five donkeys in need. Bluebelle was at risk of euthanasia due to ongoing dental problems, so we offered them both a safe home.
Alvin was incredibly nervous when he arrived, hiding behind his mum whenever he felt unsure. With the treatment Bluebelle needed and lots of patience and kindness, they both began to settle and flourish. Now part of our Twilight Herd, Alvin has grown enormously in confidence and absolutely loves fuss and affection! Alvin and Bluebelle are devoted to one another and will never be separated. Alvin and Bluebelle are both such sweet souls! |
