Freddie (& Pearl)

This picture was taken days after Pearl's rescue, she is very very thin. Pearl is the mother of Freddie, we are so lucky to have found her, we did not realise when they all arrived that Freddie’s mum was not amongst them – he was very agitated, not interested in any food we offered him and kept going to the door of the barn looking for ‘something’. All day and all through the night the poor little chap cried, it wasn’t till we saw him trying to suckle from Tabitha that we realised she was not his mum. How distressing for Freddie and for us to witness his misery.

We could not accept this heart breaking predicament, we had to do something to find his mum………..and we did (long story)!!! His mum arrived, utterly emaciated, but Freddie was overjoyed, as was his mum, these pictures are when they were just re-united (tears from all of us)! Thank goodness a happy ending........
