                                              Chester

Chester, a lovely strawberry roan, came to us in 1996 when he was very young at just five years old, and amazingly, unwanted. In 1997 Chester filled the front page of 'Your Horse' magazine having won a competition for the prettiest pony! He is adorable and very popular.

We were given great cause for concern in October 2011 when it was discovered he had a malignant growth on his sheath, without major reconstructive surgery it would have taken his life. Happily the operation was a great success, our thanks to Ruth and her team at Penmellyn Hospital.

Several of our young riders raised funds for Chester with a pyjama ride and baking cakes. Thank you girls!!
